EcoVadis: IPG has selected EcoVadis, a global CSR rating company based on international standards, to conduct individual sustainability performance assessments of our supply chain partners. It is vital that we work together with our suppliers to better understand, prioritize, and manage risks in the areas of social responsibility, environmental protection, and ethical practices and assure we meet all applicable laws and regulations.
The Climate Pledge: IPG is proud to be one of 201 organizations that have signed The Climate Pledge, a commitment to be net-zero carbon by 2040. The Climate Pledge is a cross-sector community of companies and organizations, working together to crack the climate crisis and solve the challenges of decarbonizing our economy.
EPA ENERGY STAR: An ENERGY STAR Industrial partner since 2009, IPG is a 2022 Partner of the Year – Sustained Excellence for ongoing contributions to reducing harmful carbon pollution through superior energy efficiency efforts.
EPA SmartWay: IPG participates in EPA’s SmartWay Transport Partnership, which helps companies and organizations achieve their freight supply chain sustainability goals by providing complimentary credible tools, data, and standards for measuring, benchmarking and improving environmental performance. Sustainable Packaging Coalition/How2Recycle®: IPG is proud to partner with How2Recycle to make it easier for consumers to understand how to recycle our products. How2Recycle is a voluntary, standardized labeling system that communicates recycling instructions to the public.
United Nations Global Compact: IPG has signed the Compact agreeing to adopt the ten principals governing human rights, labor, environment and anti-corruption. We have begun efforts to assess our adherence to the Compact’s Principals since signing in December 2019.
The Association of Plastic Recyclers: IPG is a proud member of The Association of Plastic Recyclers, and an APR Recycling Demand Champion – committed to purchasing new volume post-consumer recycled plastics (PCR) to drive demand in the recycling marketplace. The APR is an international trade association representing the plastics recycling industry and is considered “the voice of plastics recycling.”
Operation Clean Sweep Blue: IPG has been recognized by the Plastics Industry Association (PLASTICS) and the American Chemistry Council (ACC) Plastics Division as an Operation Clean Sweep Blue Member. IPG pledged to implement the OCS program for achieving zero plastic resin loss at its US facilities that handle plastic resin. By joining OCS blue, IPG demonstrates its commitment to being a leader in resin handling stewardship.
Association of Energy Engineers: IPG is a corporate member of AEE, a non-profit organization dedicated to serving industry professionals who are working to improve energy efficiency to save energy, reduce GHGs, make buildings perform better, and help reach global goals for Net-Zero.
Better Plants U.S. Department of Energy: IPG is proud to be a Better Plants partner and New Goal Achiever. We recently received the Better Plants Challenge Award from the US Department of Energy for reducing our energy intensity by 38%…surpassing our 25% goal!
